Tony Hills Ends Texas Career

Some unfortunate news stemming from the win against Texas Tech this past Saturday. Offensive tackle Tony Hills will miss the rest of the season with a broken fibula. Hills was injured in Saturday's game against Texas Tech.

He joins Limas Sweed and Dallas Griffin, as sidelined senior Longhorns that ended their careers in the Burnt Orange a lot sooner than we would have liked. Hills had started 24 straight games for the Longhorns, and he will be sorely missed along the front line for the Horns. The offensive line is having to fill some big holes with Griffin and Hills out for the year.

Highly touted freshman tackle Tray Allen (Grand Prairie) will most likely get his first start of the season in hostile fashion, on the road at Texas A&M. It is an unfortunate ending to a great Longhorn career. We just hope that the injury doesn't hurt his draft position too much as he will certainly be limited in workouts.
